  • Politician Database

I've been watching individuals being named as candidates for cabinet positions and such, and have become thoroughly convinced there needs to be a "Dirty Laundry" database.

Every politician and all their skeletons placed neatly in a database so histories can be researched prior to any attempt at appointment or for that matter, running for office. They could all be graded from 1-10, with ten being for the worst of offenders and offenses. This would eliminate all the drama, wasted time, money and embarrassment.

Or, maybe the database should be for politicians not guilty of any improprieties. It seems to me this database would probably be a much smaller.

It's sad that a nominee such as Daschle won't be helping in reforming Health Care due to his lack of payment in taxes. Why the hell, not paying taxes has to do with what type of position you're doing? There's a lot of people working for the white house and still their behavior and attitudes are more far worse than not paying taxes on time.

Not paying your taxes is against the law no matter how important the person believes he is. Being busy is not an excuse for not doing your duty as an American. If an IRS agent does not pay or cheats there taxs they are imediatly released and prosecuted, why would it be any different for a politician? They are both government agents that work for the American people. If you are going to ask the American people to do something you better do the same if not more since you work for them.
